Privacy Policy
We have written this privacy policy to explain, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), what information we collect, how we use data, and what choices you have as a visitor of this website. Such explanations inevitably sound technical; we have nevertheless tried to describe the most important things as simply and clearly as possible.
Automatic data storage
When you visit websites, certain information is automatically created and stored — as on this website as well. When you visit our website as you are doing right now, our web server (the computer on which this website is stored) automatically stores data such as the IP address of your device, the addresses of the visited sub-pages, details about your browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge…) as well as date and time. We do not use this data and generally do not pass it on; however, we cannot rule out that this data may be inspected in the event of unlawful behaviour.
Storage of personal data
Personal data that you submit to us electronically on this website — such as name, e-mail address, address or other personal details in the course of sending an e-mail or a form — is stored by us together with the time of submission and the IP address, used only for the purpose you indicated, kept securely and not passed on to third parties. We therefore use your personal data only for communicating with those visitors who explicitly wish to be contacted and for handling the services and products offered on this website.
We do not pass on your personal data without your consent; however, we cannot rule out that this data may be inspected in the event of unlawful behaviour. If you send us personal data by e-mail — thus outside this website — we cannot guarantee secure transmission and protection of your data. We recommend that you never submit confidential data unencrypted by e-mail.
Your application (job application) and your application documents are stored by us for 1 year and then deleted.
Your rights
In principle, you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, or that your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, whose website you can find at https://www.dsb.gv.at/.

TLS encryption with https
We use https to transmit data securely over the internet. By using TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the internet, we can ensure the protection of confidential data. You can recognise this protection of data transmission by the small padlock symbol at the top left of your browser and by the use of the https scheme as part of our internet address.
Cookies
Our website uses HTTP cookies to store user-specific data. A cookie is a short data packet that is exchanged between the web browser and the web server; it is completely meaningless to these and only gains meaning for the web application, e.g. an online shop, such as the contents of a virtual shopping cart.
There are two types of cookies: first-party cookies are created by our website, third-party cookies are created by other websites (e.g. Google Analytics). Three categories of cookies are distinguished: strictly necessary cookies to ensure basic functions of the website, functional cookies to ensure the performance of the website, and targeting cookies to improve the user experience.
We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can configure your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and only allows them on a case-by-case basis.
You can delete cookies that are already on your computer or disable cookies at any time. The procedure differs depending on the browser; the best way is to search for the instructions in Google with the search term “delete cookies chrome” or “disable cookies chrome” in the case of a Chrome browser, or replace the word “chrome” with the name of your browser, e.g. Edge, Firefox, Safari.
If you generally do not permit us to use cookies, i.e. you disable them via your browser settings, some functions and pages may not work as expected.
Online ordering
The data entered in the course of an online order, which is visible from the input mask of the order form — name / address / telephone number / e-mail address — is collected and stored exclusively for the use of our offer. With your order on our site, we will also store your IP address and the date and time of your order. This serves as a safeguard on our part in case a third party misuses your data and places an order with it on our site without your knowledge. For contract fulfilment, we pass your data on to external delivery companies or courier services.
Beyond this, your data is not passed on to third parties. The data collected in this way is not reconciled with data that may be collected by other components of our site. The data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG as well as Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for contract fulfilment) of the GDPR.
Applications
Your application is stored by us for one year and then deleted.
Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, is integrated within this online offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user.
The IP address is therefore required for the display of this content. We endeavour to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address merely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as we know, we inform the users about this.
Google Analytics privacy policy
We use Google Analytics of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on this website to statistically evaluate visitor data. Google Analytics uses targeting cookies. You can find more information on terms of use and data protection at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Pseudonymisation: our concern within the meaning of the GDPR is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised. The data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG as well as Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Deactivating data collection by Google Analytics: with the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, dc.js), website visitors can prevent Google Analytics from using their data. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Google Analytics addendum to data processing: we have concluded a direct customer contract with Google for the use of Google Analytics by accepting the “Addendum to Data Processing” in Google Analytics. You can find more about the data processing addendum for Google Analytics here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/3379636?hl=de.
Google Analytics IP anonymisation: we have implemented the IP address anonymisation of Google Analytics on this website. This function was developed by Google so that this website can comply with the applicable data protection regulations and recommendations of the local data protection authorities when these prohibit the storage of the full IP address. The anonymisation or masking of the IP takes place as soon as the IP addresses arrive in the Google Analytics data collection network and before any storage or processing of the data takes place. You can find more information on IP anonymisation at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052?hl=de.
Google Fonts privacy policy
We use Google Fonts of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on our website. The use of Google Fonts takes place without authentication and no cookies are sent to the Google Fonts API. If you have an account with Google, none of your Google account data is transmitted to Google during the use of Google Fonts. Google only records the use of CSS and the fonts used and stores this data securely. You can find answers to these and further questions at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq.
What data Google collects and what this data is used for can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
